Rawlings Mach EXT

SPECIALIZED BECOMES STANDARD

More attention is being paid to the safety of ball players from the professional league on down. MLB teams and players are also paying attention to the potentially catastrophic injury that can occur by being beaned by a 100+ mph fastball. Protective extensions which were once seen as a piece of specialized equipment, are suddenly becoming a standard component of everyday MLB gear.

The first protective flap to be NOCSAE approved and certified for on-field use at all levels of play. Validated through external testing with high-profile athletes and performing high-impact testing to measure durability and performance.

ADDED COVERAGE = INCREASED CONFIDENCE

Rawlings needed a protective flap that could seamlessly mount as an extension visually and functionally to their new MACH Helmet. The MACH EXT batting helmet extension piece provides the batter with extra facial coverage without limiting visibility. The added facial coverage allows the hitter to step into the box in any situation with increased confidence.

HIDDEN HARDWARE

A removable TPU panel conceals the mounting hardware giving the helmet/extension combo a sleek and seamless form designed to fit on all the MACH batting helmets.
